Hello all, I'm looking to do a minor bathroom renovation, namely:
Replacing floor tiles, because current tiles are quite slippery. Install ceiling ventilation fan (includes drilling hole in wall and window for ducting), because I saw mold growing a bit on ceiling. New installation of plaster ceiling
Is there anything that I should look out for when want to do this? Like if the floor tiles is hacked, need to make sure what they apply so no water leakage later (don't want to create problem for downstairs neighbor).
I am still looking for a contractor that are willing to do this small job in Ampang, if you guys have any recommendation can give me contact.

If your toilet have windows that you can cut a hole to install windows mount ventilation fan, that should be easier and much cheaper.

So my toilet’s window is quite near to my head and I’d like some privacy when using toilet by closing the window. And next to the window is my yard, and I intend to redirect the air flow to outer house. Here’s a picture for reference. So I’m thinking of drill a hole from my toilet (pink circle), and make a hole on the yard’s window(green circle). This post has been edited by Puteih: Jun 21 2024, 04:10 PM
