Generally more than enough, good storage space, fuel saving, got the power, and easy to ride. If you're looking for a nimble ride, just get Vario 125.

I had the vario 150 and it was good enough for daily commute for work (was travelling 30 km to work one way). With the 160cc i believe it will be better.
If you are carrying a bag or some stuff, I recommend to have a top box & rack, as the underseat storage can be quite small to put in helmet & raincoat.

12km is nothing for a Vario. It's like a short trip to pasar malam. cool2.gif

One drawback of vario is - the under seat storage a bit small. Not all helmets can fit properly. sweat.gif

As for raincoat... you can always use that single use ponchos. 50 cents per use. Very small space needed. I've ditched raincoat for many years. Just carry that single use / disposable ponchos. Work as good. thumbup.gif Arrive home... chucked it into the trash bin. No need to hang dry like a raincoat.

IMHO, scooter - cold bike. Not many will want. whistling.gif I've been using my PCX since 2015. Never use any additional lock. Sometime, didn't even lock the handlebar. sweat.gif Park and leave. tongue.gif

Anyway, any extra lock (disc lock, etc) is an extra deterrent. Nothing much to stop a thief if they really want to steal your ride rclxub.gif

Quick buy one and enjoy the ride. cool2.gif

Handy nimble little scooter. My brother use Vario 150 (first edition). He like it so much. Till now problem free even though it was totally submerged for 4-5 days during that famous 2021 Shah Alam flood. flex.gif
