I am noobie never done this before. haha

Can I change my postpaid to prepaid, do online can? Must go telco center ka?

I am moderate data user, only do tiktok when bored and not at home, because home got unifi.

Is it worth keeping my postpaid RM60 or should I go for cheaper prepaid?

Any cheap prepaid good enough for moderate tiktok use?

Thanks in advance.

Depend on which telco. Some need to go to centre, while some can just call their CS and ask for change. How much data is consider enough for you?

My current package is 16gb, but I use less than 5gb a month.

Mostly just tiktok, email, lite surfing, update apps, etc.

I watch tiktok only, I dont upload.

I only need my unlimited voice call the most, because for work.

Sorry as I misunderstood your question. If you refer to same telco and transfer from Postpaid to Prepaid. Not allow in general. To save time, just port out and port in again.

Digi postpaid can change to Digi prepaid but need do at centre. I suggest you the Celcom Digi Kuning 25 plan. It has unlimited calls and the data is more than enough.

From digi postpaid to digi prepaid, I did it at the digi center. It took about 5 mins per line (I had 3 numbers to convert) and no new sim was given.

Digi prepaid has monthly auto-renew plans, just need to topup and make sure your line has enough $.

Not sure about autopay, but I top up RM30 per line on the 1st of every month to be safe.

I see, if you used up the credit, then call cannot go out right? Can still receive calls?

After top up can re-use? Will not be cut?

What do you use to top up? Credit card? Bank transfer? Cashless app?

The credit is only used to pay for the monthly plan. Local calls are unlimited and my mom/wife/son do not send SMS. Honestly, I’ve never been in that situation, all my 3 lines always have at least RM30-40 credit.

Do check the digi prepaid FAQ or ask the digi CS advisor.

I topup via cc and eWallet, usually.

The last time I was on Digi prepaid if credit totally 0, mobile data will not work. Not sure if that's still the case now. If you subscribe monthly plan, some of those plans already include unlimited call.
Definitely can receive calls when out of credit. As for reload, can use online banking, CC or Debit card.

With same Rm25 on the new prepaid, you get:
- unlimited call.
- 30gb of 4g/5g data.
- 6gb hotspot quota.

The only cons is speed capped to 100mbps.

I see.. so the Celcom Digi Edisi Kuning internet speed will be capped at 100mbps.. but i think if capped to 100mbps, its too slow for 5G..

Well... Celcom Digi 5g is a joke. Only high tear postpaid customer is given uncapped speed. prepaid and lower tear customers are second class.

Money talks after all. There are other telcos to choose from anyway.
