Should be careful with the GMA X3100, many reviews had bad comments on it, and apparently was worse than its predecessor.

But Santa Rosa is definitely something to look forward to!!

Damn, triple whammy for me, bought a macbook a few months back, then leopard came out, then i found out that i'm not eligible for the upgrade plan now comes the news that there would be a new macbook.

I guess you can never catch up with the technologies nowadays.

The stores already list the lowest end configuration as 4199. The next model up is a whopping 4999. But let's say you go cheap, relatively speaking, and get the 4199 dollar model for your son, expect a verbal exchange that goes like this.

Your boy: Daddy daddy, how cum my MacBook wun burn DVD wan?
You: You wait here har, boy... Let me speed dial uncle Steve for you.
