Hi Guys,

I just got an offer as Operation Engineer at steel factory in Gebeng. Main job scope was to manage Boiler operation, inspection and maintenance.

There have 3 shift which is:

AM: 8am - 4pm
PM: 4pm - 12pm
PM: 12pm - 3pm

They also provide allowance:

Petrol RM8/day
Evening Shift RM8
Night Shift RM16
Phone RM30


I want to seek advice for me to embark and register as TS and Steam Engineer. What should I prepare and any reading materials that I can refer to?

My background in Degree Chemical Engineering Technology (Hons.) in Process.
