Guys, I have a Gigabyte Turboforce 8800GT @ 775/1775/1950. Would it be better to increase shader and memory at the cost of core frequency? Ain't got time to benchmark games atm.

Why worry? With the 4770 coming out soon, it means you get cheaper SLI as Nvidia has to knock down 9800GT prices. Just flash your 8800GT and enjoy.

CryEngine 3 is a heavily modded CryEngine 2 for consoles. They only changed the version name cause of major code changes. Visually it doesn't look much different.

18 months actually not 3 years. Still very long lasting by graphics cards standards.

Bought mine with the rest of my initial rig, got a discount from its original price of ~840? Can't recall original price.

This card can't handle Metro 2033 @ 1080p DX9 Lowest settings That includes the overclock. Unplayable FPS in combat...

More like CPU limited IMHO. L4D2 runs like a champ ingame max settings for me. Blizzard never has high graphics requirements, the game still uses DX9.0b if i recall correctly.
