what is the safe temp for a gc? my msi 8800gt is very hot..guess its bcoz of the single slot cooler...how to improve the cooler without installing any 3rd party cooler?

i think my temp are a bit high..full load is 78c..

i was thinking of buying an extra 120mm delta fan and put it direct under the gc..how is it?can or not?

rivatuner wont work if atitool window is still open and vice versa..but yes, u can oc using rivatuner, safe and closed the program, then run atitool to check the stability..

to determine whether its stable or not, test using atitool and check out the temp and if there is artifacts..

nope..u can use atitool 0.26..

both of u guys..coz this version works for 8800gt..last time i use 0.17 cant use.

feel jealous to u mizinvincible..got two slot cooler and jumper vcore too..wif new price like my secondhand price.. but still urs got two slot but mine only single slot..shud can OC more..plus u got two pci-e power connector, like its meant to be OCed..

ok...ive installed 3dmark06..only can run it once..after that, cant run anymore..i thought its bcos my oc..but then when i set it back to default, still cant..it says something like devicelost

nope..while running the test, suddenly closed and said theres device lost

thanks OC4/3, after reinstall driver, manage to run without problem..here is the result wit 700/2000/1750..not so impressive huh.

icemocha..it seems that i cant oc more than 720 for my core..u using the same gc as me rite?

yup..its true..on the stock factory o already reach 75c..i wonder is the artifact cause by heat?
