Quite nice ler to able to reach 760Mhz core.

Qimonda, although it's 1ns, there're numerous report even review sites, that it can't substain 2000Mhz for daily usage, until it comes to irrepairable situation. So better clock down the memory speed. As for core, there's no problem running 7XX provided good cooling keeping the core cool.

Throw price for your 2900XT and grab one off the shop. You got order any for the shop or not?

No mar, he want to get 8800GT, but have to sell off 2900XT only can get. Or wait for 8800GTS Rev. 2.

Mount Zalman Fatality ZV9 + Vantec Tornado 92mm @ 7v onto my XFX 8800GT Extreme. The original fan is faulty so using alternative fan cooling solution. Sorry for the rusty fan grill.



Here's the temp on load. Around 49c-52c depends on ambient temp.



Idle temp is around 42c.

Faulty cause of wrong wiring. Also cause my other hardwares faulty.

Nah, I screwed it up. It's 2nd hand, so doesn't matter anyway. The copper is more important.

Just to clear some confusion, the fan I talking about it the ZV9 fan, not 8800GT 's fan.

Raymond, you got vmod your card already?

My card doesn't seems that good. Manage to get it stable @ 700/1728/1950. Can't go higher for core and shader clocks, will result in having artifact and freezing.

Nice mod there. Still thinking whether to mod mine or not. I flashed mine with 1.1v 3D, at least able to do 730 core stable.

For the vgpu of 1.3, is it BIOS flashed or hardmod? What's the 3D vgpu for ADE XXX BIOS?

When you need to run games at max setting and uber high resolution, single card won't do well enough.

Just some quick testing after vmod my 8800GT. 1.24vGPU idle 1.30vGPU full load. Mounted with Zalman ZV9 + Vantec Tornado @ 12v full blast instead of 7v cause too hot, in aircon room.
