just wanto ask u guyz noob question...

iam using the rivatuner auto fan control launcher so my GC can raise the speed of the fan according to the core temp by itself....

the problem is....when i start to play games....my GC fan keep changing speed frequently from low to hi, low to hi, 30% to 70%....what iam trying to say is, the changes is to often...

my question is....is tat scenario ok....will it spoil my card cuzz the changes of the fan speed is to often...

shouldnt be a problem there.. but why it change often?? when u playing game.. ur card shud be hot and ur fanspeed too shud be high all the while to maintain the temperature.... unless u alt+tab often then it cools down..... make sure u do the profile correctly... here is 2 links for the guide http://www.guru3d.com/article/article/449/ and http://www.vaguesoft.com/users/dwood/blog/...ials/rivatuner/

how about just fix the fan speed at 70% , adjust fan speed by ur self , after playing game just turn back 30% .. IMO

55C is a very good temp. What software are you using to stress test the GPU?

I edited the bios to 1.15v but there is no difference... seems like 1.1v is the limit of bios modding ...

Is your system stable at that speed? Sometimes if it's not stable, you get a lower score. My E8200 @ 4.01Ghz gives +/- 14920 3dmarks.

These graphics card can get very hot and 75C isn't a good number so you might want to invest on 3rd party cooler?

yea,but usually when i play games(GoW,PES2008 etc) my loads temps is around 59-60.cuz i had my fan profile to run on 100% when in load (62c^) icon_rolleyes.gif . on idle my fan running at 68%. that's how i keep my card stay a bit warm, not so hot la sweat.gif . coz i see in other forum like in guru 3d they say this card is a good temp handler. so 55-60c is normal.
somehow i thinking of 3rd party cooler since i wanna increase my clock more.
and i cant seems to increase my memory clock more than 950.any idea?

im using it..
this card is very good imo..
if u want to unleash the card's true potential..
u just have to download the gamer hud software from gigabyte's website..
this software allows u to change the vgpu so that u can oc it higher..
from my experience.. at 1.1v the max atitool stable SP oc is 1782mhz, 1.15v 1836mhz and 1.2 is 1890mhz... thumbup.gif
