Sorry, am a noobiez when it comes to telco plans.

I have used prepaid and postpaid but rarely change plans, phone also I bought separately no contract. (old and cheap android phone, I poor, haha)

I tried to look for review and read all the comparisons for different telco plans but end up more confused and very headache.  rclxub.gif

=================

This is my current situation and usage, any idea which is best for me?

Home (for entire family): Unifi 100mbps with UnifiTV, pay RM130++ per month.

Main phone: Digi postpaid 58 (Rm60++), unlimited calls, 16GB data, not sure how much hotspot. (no contract)

Separate phone (for grandfather): Digi postpaid 38 (RM40++), unlimited calls, not sure how much data or hotspot. (no contract)

Total paid: RM240++ monthly.

=================

Issue: My old (6 years) cheap android phone damaged and will die soon, not worth repair, I wanna get new phone but afraid too expensive, so looking to subscribe telco contract with phone for first time in my life, haha. But after reading the various comparisons and pricing details, I get a huge migraine, dont know how to choose.

I'm low income girl, no hubby or kid, working to support grandparents and younger siblings, parents are "not available" (sorry long sad story, no point telling).

Anyway, I'm looking for a way to pay LESS but for the same or better services combined (Home internet + main phone line + extra line for grandpa). My siblings use prepaid and they settle themselves, I only help when they low on money.

So, is there a cheaper way to combine these services and still get a new phone? Or should I buy phone separately and go with prepaid?

Oh, got one condition, cannot change unifi because grandparents addicted to UnifiTV, its their only budget entertainment. They raised me and siblings, never ask for much, so this is the least I could do for them, now that they are old and retired. Unifi also for entire family, siblings need it for studying too, I use it for work related things and entertainment.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for any help.  notworthy.gif

Simple... MNP to XOX One Family... principal line RM39, each supp line RM10 only...

The money saved is more than enough to buy a 5G phone.

Wow, but why is it so cheap? What is the catch?

Not good coverage?

Everything is good. I think the thing with MVNO is that they lease a certain amount of bandwidth from Celcom. Maybe there are areas that may not get as fast but where I stay and work (in Kepong), everything is fine though. I have been using XOX since MCO 1.0 and so far internet is the least of my problem. Before 5G, they are slow to roll out VOLTE and whenever calls come in, everything switched to 2G which is awful. However since 5G, everything is implemented with VOLTE, VOWIFI, working flawlessly.

Personally I think the plan is okay, not too expensive or cheap. In comparison, my son who used XOX Prepaid only pay like RM80 yearly. RM25 for 365 validity plus another RM50 to buy 30GB + 100 minutes (depending on promotion). Every month activate 2GB to use.
