Franchise still worth? Sikit sikit kena boikot bcos of some random event or dumb incidents. Also, with so many franchise competing for the same market, their values are seriously diluted. Might as well just open own brand.

QUOTE(jonthebaptist @ Jun 2 2024, 11:08 AM) Not really, I mean if just consider nasi lemak you can get it most places now, I see supermarket also selling their own nasi lemak on the go too nowadays it not only sell food alone, it also sell culture.among the all francise, this one the most easy to operate. noneed heavy equipment, only microwave. and the profit margin. i order nasilemak + charm ice cost me RM15 sometime at mall i feel hungry but not dinner time yet, i choose bungkus kaw kaw for quick bite. |

QUOTE(blek @ Jun 2 2024, 01:21 PM) it not only sell food alone, it also sell culture. Exactly, that's why now you also see such stuff at 7eleven, family mart, and some supermarkets.among the all francise, this one the most easy to operate. noneed heavy equipment, only microwave. and the profit margin. i order nasilemak + charm ice cost me RM15 sometime at mall i feel hungry but not dinner time yet, i choose bungkus kaw kaw for quick bite. Ofcourse their main advantage of their menu which is Malay food, but what I mean is, it's not hard to mimick (assuming you have capital to start) |
