Very important 3 points. But luck is on our side too, despite playing badly. Need to improve a lot, else we gonna get thrash by arsenal next week.

Anyway first test, passed for Slot
I can see we preserved energy in 1st half.... And nice battle in the middle, we defended from the front and that worked well for us

We play ok. Chelsea are rough and fast. Arsenal is far from it. But yeah, hate our backline slowing down and play infront of goal everytime.

Don't think we played badly. We play ugly but quite well. Kept the ball well in tight areas, didn't give needless possession away, no mistakes from the back, some nice interception and generally restricted Chelsea to almost no clear cut chances in the 2nd half (they are iinm the 2nd top scorer in the league).

We see a different kind of tinkering done by Slot, he just let the team sit back and counter, which worked against the speedy chelsea attackers. TAA did a good defending job. The goal conceded was a 50/50 call. maybe kelleher thought it's an offside and didn't rush out to block.

7 games in 20 days, maybe a non pressing game can conserve energy and reduce the injury risk, just that we are not used to a bus parking Liverpool biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Yes tactical flexibility, play whatever it takes for a win and adapt to the opponent no need to impose our style of play every game.

many fans will be disappointed that we played defensively at home games but in the end player welfare oso kena take care

Prefer this tactic. If it's klopp he gonna high press and high tempo.

Ends up win 1 match then other match all players tired.

Look at that offside goal by redbull, that's what happened when the defense line really focused ensuring each defender is aligned properly.

How’s our gameplay last night? Attacking play or slow pace play like against Chelsea?

I see salah sub out after 60 mins, not injury right?

Tactical subs. Resting for the next games. Very tight schedules kan.

Gameplay was okay, as expected. Tapi RB Leipzig main gegenpressing. They are not afraid of going forward in numbers. A few time our backline get caught playing very deep. Since RBL play an open game, our midfield also have somewhat good game with flowing football.

And yes, Kelleher is the best super-sub keeper in the world!!...
