A brief search on Isak suggests that, EPL stats
22/23 - 10 goals (Debut season)
23/24 - 21 goals (Ranked 3rd behind Haaland and Palmer)
24/25 - 23 goals (Ranked 2nd behind Salah)

Compare to those top scorers, he has a slightly low wages, but imo think he just wants to join a more ambitious club at this point if the reports of him rejecting Saudi club offer of 700k/week wage were true. Newcastle didn't really improve their squad much other than signing Elanga this window and they are qualified for UCL next season, Isak could be really fed up. Our own Salah also just got a pay raise after a long saga, and luckily, he stays.

Who knows what will happen if we opted to sign Isak instead of Nunez, base on those mentioned stats, we could have won more trophy or complete the treble, and Klopp might stay on. Who knows right?

Priority definitely to get a CB, but duno why it seems all the focus on Isak.

We can't be using Endo at CB gua, disaster waiting to happen.

LFC seems very confident they can get Isak wor, sell Nunez now w/o confirm securing any ST. I duwan see Jones play ST leh

Gakpo, Salah both also can play ST if needed, (Frimpong RW then Bradley RB) <this also being tested out during pre season friendly.

Though i really not prefer these kind mix&match la, better get a proper ST for Hugo backup.

I think if compare our forward and back line options, CB is more urgently needed. I rather see Gakpo ST also duwan see Endo CB

Newcastle really damn fail, cannot manage to sign 90% of their transfer target, has all the summer to plan for Isak exit, but they chose the ugly way. Rich owner owns the club but has no director of football i guess, lack of plan for future and very undecisive, what funny is they are still in UCL this season. The market nowadays, nothing comes cheap. I think ekitike and isak can rotate or play together no issue, we have alot of games to play across all competitions. Even today your preferred rodrygo comes, he will be easily 100m minimum bro. For me i would take a EPL proven Isak than a RM fringe rodrygo, and i think we are short of proper ST than a winger.
