btw...after the 8 matches, top 8 teams will be qualifed to round of 16.

how about the format for 9-24th teams to fight for the remaining 8 spots for round of 16?

actually new format is not bad, to avoid the group of death happen during the initial draw.

and also reduce the chance of controlling the team to be qualified as winner or runner-up of the group.

need a bit clarification for this roadmap

for round of 16, is it 1 side for 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th
and another side for 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th?

or need to draw again?
