wonder why Liverpool only offer 5y contracts for most incomings? Other teams are doing 7-9y contract. Not sure which one is better but i think the longer the contract the better as we can maintain the pay (unless renegotiate during the existing contract period) and there will be no issue in running down the contract during prime and leave for nothing.

I think many clubs try to sabotage Liv by sailang all NUFC striker's target to block Isak move... my conspiracy theory 😅

I think not only for reinforcement, but more on marketing as well. Marquee signing surely will benefit the club's revenue. See Writz shirt sale? Isak will have the same impact as well. Even we spent huge, we can quickly gained some portion of it... we can then dream to be the england galacticos in near future...
I want Isak to sign and then switch focuas to defense. I also hope Konate will sign a new contract soon

Pity Isak. He die die do everything to come over but what to do, the club not selling... not many players really want to come to Liverpool. I am not sure the personal term agreed between him and Liverpool, but I doubt he is getting more than 250k per week. He even turned down 300k per week from NUFC. I can see his desire and effort to come over. Feel bad for him and wish he will end up in Liverpool sooner or later.
