I have no reason to be mad...whether it’s the supporters’ money flying the planes or the club’s money buying the players, it’s not my money in the first place. They can do what they want with THEIR money.

If people are too dumb to realise it’s always been a business, they can fly planes banners over all 38 matches for all I care. Funny how the loudest ones claiming to “love the club” the most are also the last to give credit when it’s due... some just have skin too thick to admit it.

You’re absolutely spot on! I guess I do support “FSG FC” more than LFC, if that’s how you see it. That’s why I’d rather spend my money flying to Wembley for a cup final or to Anfield for matches, probably watched more games in person than the total time you’ve spent funding plane banners.

Jokes aside, we do need vocal fans with different views...I mean someone’s gotta keep the club on its toes, right? We won’t always agree, but a bit of noise from all sides isn’t a bad thing. Just maybe not from someone who’s been moaning for nearly a decade without giving a shred of credit when it’s due. At some point, that’s not “passion”.... it’s just noise.

Watched a few games from the Main Stand and Anfield Road End....never had any issues at all. I mean, you should know better if you’ve actually been there.

Wissa 28yo, ekitike 23.... age also plays a factor in the pricing ma.

I think 80m for ekitike is very high, would rather us paying 30m for Mateta and have Nunez upfront with him.

The problem is not with the player but rather the reported fees that we are paying.

Regardless of the fee structure, the reported fixed fee is £69m with add ons up to £80m.

Victor gyökeres reported fee is £54m + add ons of £8m.

Cunha's fee was £62.5m

Omar Marmoush (who was the main man before ekitike) fee was £59m with a further £4.2m (€5m) in bonuses.

João Pedro - £55m

All these players have scored double-digit goals in at least two seasons and are still cheaper than the one we're buying.

It's not about the cheaper alternatives but rather whether we should spend it elsewhere on other targets rather than paying over the odds. Pretty sure they have a long list of targets beside this guy.

I mentioned those name not because of their availability. I mentioned them to show you we are paying over the odds.

If Pedro's stats is so so, so is Ekitike's. The latter played with a better team too (3rd in Bundesliga whereas the former played for mid table team). Let's not forget the strength of the league as well.

Yes Wirtz was overpriced as well but at least he has won something and proven himself for a number of seasons. Ekitike only have 1 good season. The season before he only scored 4 goals.
