TS, is your laptop using DDR4 or DDR3 ?

If your laptop is DDR4, these sticks can downclock to default 2133 / 2400 speed with no issues, unless you are looking for higher speed RAM than 2666

DDR4. Unfortunately my laptop cannot boot if I use the kingston HyperX ram. Now I'm using back the laptop's original ram which is samsung 8GB.
