Well... Its more like
High and mid frequency upgrade.
Bass downgrade.
Overall loudness upgrade

I lazy and wan things simpler. Wan control everythg at my hu dsp instead, since already have 16ch dsp in my hu.
But no dsp the power become lower, so i add amplifier.
Lose out on more accurate time alignment n possibly sound quality, but with my car loudness, i think i wont notice too much

Its to soundproofing the doors, and make the door act like a speaker box so sounds nicer.
Imagine a naked speaker without box and a speaker in an enclosed box. With the box the speakers will sound way nicer.

Whats the point of doing sound system on a Honda Type R?
From factory , it is supposingly stripped out of sound deadening material to cut down on weight.
Now you wanna add back those material.
But you have to do the whole car including the floor board and boot area to make your sound system shine . Then it defeats the purpose of a Type R which is supposed to be a track focused car.
