You cannot simply fire people unless the person has shown bad performance for sometime. HR will need to have records of bad performance such as appraisal score, disciplinary issues, etc.

If you all the while gets good appraisal, good performance and no disciplinary issue, companies cannot simply fire you. It’s called unfair dismissal. You can sue the company and your chances of winning is high like this case.
