why not just update the cimbclicka app rather than making a freaking new app that does the same job...apa bodo la sotong ni...they should have just update the cimb clicks app to look like the cimb octo app...so much money and make 2 apps that do the same thing...

Been using Octo since launch. Ok what. Quite stable.

same goes for the 'why not keep updating Win10 instead of coming out with Win11...' statement. probably due to security / API / other reasons that they move to a new app...

I still got the Octo plushies from registering CIMBClicks although it was a present from my friend because he registered the ID at one of bank branches.

bruh...OS is in another category...do u see instagram v2? facebook v3? tiktok v10? no right..they will continually update the security and interface rather than making a new app...unless they made the cimb octo app using other frameworks and coding language....yeah i somehow like the octo app but seriously that octo app loads freaking slow compared to the clicks app...if they made it faster than the click app then i dont mind using it...

Why bank always switch to new app instead of update old one?

I'm actually surprised to see their Android OS requirement is version 9 like on Clicks. Othe banks are asking version 10, 11, or above.

CIMB is the worst banking app IMO

Tulah engage IT contractors for app dev and contracting firm try to squeeze them kaokao by proposing expensive new project because don't want to inherit technical debt from old app ma manatau new app also write in a bunch of technical debts

TnG same. Stupid ads kept flooding during everything. Wanna transfer, ads popping up. Wanna reload, ads again popping up.

Pro : Can just transfer immediately using the 6 digit PIN code.. MBB still need key in password

Cons : Very irritating if u login using PC.. Will get notification on phone saying someone has logged in.. MBB has no notification

I'm using 4 bank apps, the best to worst

MBB, CIMB, PBB, MBSB

Maybe they really got nuthing better to do wanna waste company money.

I get a notification too but no audio notification.

Do you get an audio notification on your phone when you log in via PC?

I think he doesnt mean its audio notification when he mentions the message "saying"

I mean the notification message appears silently on my phone, there's no sound when the notification message appears.

So, if I'm not looking at my phone I wouldn't know a notification has been received.


Is this the case for everyone?

On same boat as you . Hardly encounter issues and fairly smooth overall.

Only gripe I have is clearing the notification badge on icon. Have to in and out twice only it detects as "read"
