Having the BSM at the A-pillar is much better as the light gives a better contràst again the dark plastic as it is much noticeable as compared to being in the Side Mirrors.

While it is good to have additional features such as these, but I would still prefer to drive relying on situational awareness.

Seen this before too, they try to have an opening for that blind spot but creates 2 more pillar blindspot.
Never drove in those but have a skeptical view a little.

The one that has camera to see though works better

Just shift your body left and right while looking at the area covered by blindspot (A pillar). When I drive I also tend to turn my head and look through rear passenger door window.

I don't know why there are those who don't.

That blind spot monitor at side mirror can help you with blockage caused by A pillars meh? My car doesn't have this so I don't know.

Probably need strong A pillars to enhance cabin integrity and allow the doors to be able to be opened in a crash.

Honda Jazz has good design with the little triangle windows too. The A pillars are positioned further from the driver.

A mass production of the F1 halo apply to the pillars, which will highly reduce the blindspots.
It should be able bring down the cost if make it happens.

Apart from that,
Those drivers driving vehicles with BLIS BSM, even with the warning, still behave like shit. Give indicator within a second straight away out from the lane, worse even switch lanes with any indication or sign within a second.

Can minimise blind spots.

I tested both Jazz and City in 2018. The jazz has significantly less blind spots caused by the A pillars due to the position of the pillars and larger front windows.

Ayam driving GM6 too. If you see one with only 3 window visors (driver's side tarak), that's probably mine. I don't understand how some owners can stick a visor on the driver's side on a car with such obstructive A pillars.

That's because they're designed per old safety standards kot. Those cars have skinny A pillars.

Lol yeah you can see them turning on their signal and their BSM light flash rapidly meaning there must be an audible alert inside that beeped at them saying there’s a car in their blind spot but they still switched lanes very aggressively. devil.gif
