The second-generation Toyota Sienta has been taken off sale in Thailand and has had its listing removed from the Toyota Motor Thailand website towards the end of last month, seven years since the seven-seater compact MPV went on sale in the country in 2016, reports Headlight Magazine.

This generation of the Sienta was first shown in Indonesia at the 2016 Indonesia International Motor Show, and went on sale in Malaysia August that same year. This was built at the PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Factory II in Karawang, West Jawa.

Customer response for the Sienta in Thailand following its launch saw 2,356 units in cumulative sales over the period of September to December 2016, surpassing the sales figures of the Honda Mobilio and Honda BR-V in that market at the time.

nissan JP's interior design is kind of questionable and not cater to malaysian's taste...that's why hard to sell

ETCM brought in the Elgrand officially (Apr 2012) 2 years before UMW brought in the Alphard officially (Apr 2014)

Actually was looking around for this one when looking for an MPV before for comparison of available recon MPVs here in Malaysia, barely can find any around the year of 2022. Ended up with Vellfire instead. Price wise, its significantly lower compared to its competitor; same year of its competitor, expect at around RM 50K different. Didnt manage to test drive any and happy with my Vellfire

depends your priority is what
if your priority is price, you will go for elgrand but if your priority is looks included....you'll go for the vellfire/alphard for sure
even at the price difference....that's why recond mark up so much certain models of their cars...because they knew u wanted it and willing to pay for it

My decision might be different if i managed to drive one those days but since that none were available, my only option were left with Vellfire (excluding the koreans)

i would recommend you find Vellfire Alphard with shop warranty buy the car dealer
reason lots of spare parts and mechanics to fix it if shit happens

i used to recommend Chery Tiggo to people but now not already due to shitty chery distributors

if given a choice i will ask u to take Hiace 2.8 turbo diesel 2.4 meter height but i heard seems now no more stocks
