problem is I couldn’t find much info on this company and I saw the same job posting using another company name on other job sites. I asked him before to tell me more about the company but instead of telling me he asked me to do the test work and said he got 80+ applications

Scam alert, sirens are blaring loudly as we speak.

Why would some genuine company who do genuine works do not have any track records if they have been in existence in the US for a period of time?

Plus, why would they post the same ad across the Internet masquerading as different entities?

Food for thoughts. My dear Watson.

The biggest red flag for me is not the test work but the complete ignoring of my question about his company. I kinda have an idea who the CEO(the one who communicated with me) is & I searched abt him. He seems to be an entrepreneur who wrote a few e-books and owned some stores but he hasn’t been active on socmed for a few years.

If someone is evasive about questions regarding their establishment during interviews, it would definitely be a big siren or red flags above my head.

Anyone could write a few ebooks due to the convenience of the net, not to mention that we have AI to do the grunt with for us nowadays. If he's successful and have nothing to hide, why being secretive in the first place?
