Hi guys, would like to ask, let's say i'm in selangor , and the company give's

11 Days to be Observed. (Five days compulsory and six days elective)

and i've read the 6 days elective are selected among 11 days to make it total 11.

let's say i have
National Day
Yang Di Pertuan Agong’s birthday
The Birthday of the Ruler or The Yang-di Pertua Negeri or Federal Territory Day
The Labour’s Day
Malaysia Day

and the other 6 are selected from the 11 days, does the other 5 remaining PH from the elective 11 days gets double pay?
or i get double only when i work during the 6 selected days by the employers? thx thx

All 11 gets paid PH OT

Meaning, the other 5 remaining PH, your company is not taking them as PH. So it is considered normal working day (normal pay, no double pay).

5 compulsory + 6 elective gets double

5 remaining elective no double

or

5 compulsory + 11 elective gets double

Meaning today wesak, my company not observing under the elective, meaning it's normal day work right?

You have listed 5 PH.. those are compulsory, you get PH

Then the company selects the other 6 PH.. those will get PH

Total minimum PH must be 11 days.

So 5+6=11 days PH.

All 11 days is if no work, get paid basic because PH

All 11 days if work, get PH OT.

The 6 elective days No double pay...
Just normal one....

Only those 5 days compulsory gets double (if they willing to pay)

Is that even legal? Sorry, true newbie question.
