Simple question for whoever using Hotlink and CelcomDigi recently. Is Hotlink has overall better stability vs CelcomDigi ??
I using Digi & Xox ight now and I found they very often drop performance especially in raining day (4G gone & connected to a slow network) . Is Hotlink has this problem too ?

I carry 2 phones, one on celcomdigi another on hotlink. Dunno about other places, but in Penang island they’re both roughly the same. Some places have better hotlink coverage others have better celcomdigi coverage.

If you already have XOX then why do you have Digi? MNP to Hotlink... best of duopoly world.
Nothing is perfect nowadays...
One thing is right thought... the inclusion of Digi subscribers is really putting Celcom network under pressure. Used to be faster before the merger.

I didn't know they merge until recently and yeah going to keep Digi and replace another with hotlink.

Rural area celcom digi maxis sharing tower. Spme place sharing network MOCN tower Coverage are the same Digi and MOCN tower No 4G band 7 After midnight 4G band 1 3 gone. Band 8 stay During heavy rain. Sometime signal from nearest tower gone.

Prepaid offerings is comparable between the two, but Hotlink's Pantas Plans allow full speed, CelcomDigi caps their Prepaid 5G speed at 100mbps. A deal breaker for me as i like my plan to have full/unlimited speed. Where i live/work, Hotlink is slightly faster (only just), but CelcomDigi trumps Hotlink in my hometown.

I've just ported to Hotlink from Celcom. The latter has been terrible since the merger and crappy customer service.

CelcomDigi coverage, stability & speed all depends on location...
But one I can observe is... After the major mergers... Network getting worse....
Maxis / Hotlink seems little better only... It's like on par with CelcomDigi....

I was with Maxis since 2006 and in Dec 2022, I ported to CelcomDigi for almost 15 months because Maxis didn't have 5G back then.
I ported back to Maxis in March this year and I can tell you, Maxis is so much more stable. No doubt Maxis is not perfect but overall, it is still much more stable than CelcomDigi.
I now use CelcomDigi Edisi Kuning Prepaid 25 as my secondary/backup line and Maxis is my main line.

Nothing superior compare to CelcomDigi but at least connection still stable in storm heavy rain situation where CelcomDigi often become unstable and only provide slow connection or even no data at all for a short while. By the way I can't find any "Edisi Kuning Prepaid 25" plan in my Digi app, am I missing something ?? Also what the hack is unlimited onnet call ?? Only between same server like Digi to Digi ??

You can upgrade your existing Digi Plan to 5G Kuning using USSD Code *118#1#4#1# and get the screen above. Choose 1 and press SEND to change plan You need to be on the 5G Kuning Plan to see the Edisi Kuning Prepaid 25 add-on

The Edisi Kuning 25 has unlimited mobile & fix line call ??

I believe this next 25 was just launched like late last year during transition phase into celcomdigi branding. Maybe they purposely gimp this plan so people will have reasons to move up to newest celcomdigi plan when eventually launched. Celcomdigi prepaid have monthly plans of minimal rm25 and all have unlimited calls to all network (except 35 unlimited) https://help.celcomdigi.com/support/solutio...isclosure-sheetThis post has been edited by MyProLife: Jun 2 2024, 06:16 PM
