I went to Japan exactly a year ago, and will visit it again exactly a year from now (planning to celebrate Christmas and New Year 2013 at Tokyo)

I remembered strolling Akihabara for 2-3 hours to find a maid who could speak decent English and visiting Ms for some naughty toys for my then gf

Despite only knowing basic Japanese, i traveled the subways alone for a few days and it was quite a breeze, i had absolutely no fear of getting lost or robbed around Tokyo. Simply loved the onigiri as well, cheap and filling (gained 2 kilos after just 9 days thanks to it).

I've visited many countries before and Japan is thus far the best i've been to and can't wait to return...with friends this time!
