My colleague is going to japan next month and he is in the midst of applying the visa. Suprisingly he told us that he have to provide marriage cert, birth cert, employment letter to Japan embassy. Does that apply to you all too? He was also been required to provide a slip of RM35k of fixed deposit in Malaysia. why so? can anyone pls share your experience with me? thanks!

My colleage is going with the family. 2 adult and 2 child, no wonder they want RM35K as FD.
