I can say is Suishi Dai are best Sushi in Tokyo with lowest price....Best in World (my ranking) are Sukiyabashi Jiro at Ginza. 18 Sushi with 1 beer cost you 38,000 Yen Per Head. (Michelin 3 star and Japan Emperor Honour Chef)

Sushi Dai chef recommended set just 5,000 Yen around compare to his are 38,000 Yen. When go Sushi Dai just order...Chef Recommended set.
5.40 - 6am will arrive Tsukiji. Q should be 30minute - 1 hour only

I'm heading to tokyo on 25th May, and will be landing at Narita at 830pm. Planning to spend 7 nights in Japan, perhaps 2 nights in Kyoto and 5 nights in Shinjuku.

What would you recommend, shld i

1.take a train straight upon landing from Narita to Kyoto, then stay 2 nights there, then back to Shinjuku for the remaining nights or

2.stay in Shinjuku 3 nights then go Kyoto 2 nights, then back to Tokyo again for 2 nights.

My flight departs Tokyo at 9am on 1st June. Any advice from you is much appreciated!!

daiwa sushi, the value for money is lower than sushi dai. when i went late last year, it was 3500yen but only 7nigiri+1roll. sushi dai is 3900yen but 11nigiri+1roll. however daiwa got 2 shophouse and 6 itamae so the queue is also a LOT shorter than sushi dai. in august i.e. summertime i queue'ed 1.5 hours for sushi dai, start queue 6.25am seated 7.55am.

i wait for 2 hours... worth to wait.. cheap somemore.. and the chef near to the door know how to speak lil bit of malay.. he told me he has fren lives in johor. his fren taught him. very frenly. the soup also great.

they even serve green tea while i queued.

hmm, if go later than that, let's say 7 or 8am ,means no more sushi to eat? or less fresh?
