It's normal to have that kind of environment especially in banking. The only stressfull stuff working in this kind environment is if you keep making the same mistake many times & never learn from it. Technology change fast and you need to learn and pick up new things fast.

Dont listen to rumour related to CSC / Maybank. They may not fit to that environment but you may. Being positive and eager to learn is the way to survive. Dont expect the company to change to suit you - you have to change to suit the env.

Correction, CSC is NOT a subsidiary of CSA...it should be the other way round.

I was in the project for 2 years. There's been a few changes this past year. That's what I've heard from my former colleagues there. Can you tell us the your manager? hmm.gif

This thread has not been updated since Nov last year, but I just got an offer from CSA. Database Administrator support for one of their client. Anyone has any idea what would be the working culture and environment in that team?
I don't think there will be any contractual bonus or allowance, any advice?

Thanks.

...as long as not work as helpdesk in ACC in the Enterprise division, should be ok. The ACC dept of their Enterprise division is a jinx.

Poor mgmt, was hired as team lead previously in their ACC.

Was hired to replace the previous Team lead, who's transfered to other dept.

Inherited several team full of issue and problem Attempted to fix the issue but always get interference from previous Team lead, seems to like to interfere my work.

Multiple employees disciplinary issue stemming from poor action from mgmt.

My advice to the mgmt, fix the problem where it lies, and not create more problem and finger pointing culture should stop as well.

If not, the problem will forever be there.

If you hire a team lead, put your trust and gave authority for the lead to carry out work. Staff disciplinary issue are high in the ACC. Will not go away by closing one eye, please take action instead.
