Oh noesssssssssssss. I just read that the legendary Extreme Prometeia company has closed shop for good. Such a pity. Hopefully some rich investors bring it back to life in the near future.

To be honest, it's not a shocking news actually.
Since not many people are daring enough to try it. Plus, not many people can afford to buy those thing too.

Prometeia is still available. Extreme Prometeia is just a forum site which deals in trading with ECT ( Extreme Cooling Technologies).

Aiks, Custom PC mag says they have ceased trading.

I wonder how these people dealt with condensation.

These commercial units have built-in heater to deal with condensation problems....But there's a slight disadvantage with having the heater turned on especially if you need the the extra vital temps.

But for me, i just make sure the insulation is perfect and some fans blowing to keep the condensation at bay.

imo extreme prometia was beter selling than the vapochilles.. in th euk , alot of phase user started with prometias.. and the mach 2 is almost of a legendary status... well they are not closed... adn this was preety old news.. boss ur custom pc mag awt date oh..lol.. but they are still selling premetias... u just need to contact the right person

IIRC, the prommies now are all custom made unlike previously where its commercially available off the shelves. You can still order them directly from their manufacturer, ECT (Extreme Cooling Technologies).

yeah.. something like that one.. but its still possible to get old stocks at the right places...
