I am planning my wedding in a hotel, on event day we will have solemnization with JPN officer on site and tea ceremony as well. I am wondering if I need an Emcee or coordinator to help me with the agenda and workflow, or my guests can all entertain themselves during the event?

Definitely get an MC, they don't just talk but they coordinate between music, food, march in etc.. so better get a good and experience MC

It depends what you are willing to spend. A good emcee can usher and set the mood. But if you think about it another way, you are really paying thousands for someone to just speak for 20mins on stage.

When I did my wedding dinner, thankfully I had someone who was willing to be the emcee, that really save me thousands in another vendor payment.

Yes, u definitely need an emcee for your wedding. It's helps to liven up the vibe especially during outfit changes and such.
