better use thermal pad, controller and nand chip height are not fixed.

I bend my m2 ssd cos my notebook only supports 1 side nand ssd....
So need bend it so can fit the ssd....

Yes you could do that, but you may be risking breaking the SSD in the future as the solder balls may crack/break from the PCB due to mechanical and thermal stress sweat.gif

Even hotter without the sticker.

I also moved the sticker to the back but added thermal pads and the temperature was reduced by some degrees.

so how do you add a thermal pad for M2 ? i thought usually at the back
