Hi guys, Edwin here from toptirereview.
I got fed up in comparing tire prices on Shopee. So I downloaded the tire prices for every single tire & made a comparison tool out of it. It has more than 2000 tire prices in it. Feel free to try it, maybe it would help you save a few bucks. Appreciate your feedback !
https://toptirereview.com/malaysia-tire-price-comparison/Thanks for the effort, I for one appreciate such tools. I tried it out so far I think it simplifies searches for users.
Here's some feedback that I can think of on top of my mind:
1. Perhaps can include Lazada too if possible- as written on the page itself.
> As shopee mostly requires users to login, some users might opt to use Lazada to view prices.
> Also allows price comparison across platforms as some platforms during some period of time do provide vouchers for purchase / varying shipping fees (if any).
2. Can include when was the database last updated-
> More precision when it comes to the pricing perhaps?
3. Sorting - might be helpful if there is a sorting feature for aspects like:
> The price list (i.e. low to high / high to low)
> The tire brand (i.e. a separate column for the brand)
4. Might also include a filter / range for car models as improvement to the tool in future.
> Allows non-technical or not knowledgeable users to be able to search their vehicle tire sizes without needing to Google / be confused.
> Perhaps in future there's a blogpost to educate users on range of tire sizes accepted for their car - i.e. some users might not know that they can actually fit different size of tires according to their needs (165/60 vs 170/60).
Hopefully it helps, these are just some of the things that I can think of on top of my mind. Please excuse my lack of knowledge when it comes to compiling tools like these pertaining to some of my suggestions which might be hard to implement.
Thanks again Edwin.
