I am going to buy a Asus Vivobook 15X AMD ( M3504). I found that there are 2 formats of sound systems. One is Sonic Master and one is Dolby Atmos. I know Dolby Atmos are a little bit better than Sonic Master. My question is why Asus have 2 type of sound systems? Regardless the price, may I know what is your suggestion? SonicMaster and Dolby Atmos?

QUOTE(dcheah @ May 13 2024, 10:06 AM) I believe that SonicMaster is engineered more towards Audiophile enthusiast, while Dolby Atmos was designed for Video/Cinema type. If you are into Sound Engineering, the SonicMaster is your best bet, else if you enjoy a good sound quality while watching/streaming/editing movies then Dolby Atmos is the best choice here. It depends on what you want to use the laptop for. Hope this helps... QUOTE(PRSXFENG @ May 13 2024, 03:22 PM) It's all marketing Dolby Atmos, dts, Nahimic, these are seen common on laptops SonicMaster is Asus own in house one It really does not matter just try and see if you like the sound and that's it My previous desktop PC sound system is Realtek. I need to install 2 drivers, 1 is for board driver and 1 is Dolby digital driver. The sound effect is very good.
