Yes, but for me it is better to get a new fresh unit if that thing is expensive and useful to me. tongue.gif

Refurbish unit also got warranty what, plus somemore already do testing (demo to customer) and confirm working, if found any problem, you won't get too mad also, because you know it's a refurbished unit! BTW, I also want to go for refurbished unit of PowerBook last time, but at the end, decide to pick new MacBook biggrin.gif But it's PPC vs Intel!

Hmm..you sound desperate, why don't you sell it off rather than trade it? It's easier to sell it than look for another guy that is willing to trade it. Then top up with extra money to get a MBP.

Good luck dude.

sweet bro, i'm getting mine soon too! an 15" w/ 128mb graphic card

luckily enough, i hav relatives working for apple in california, he gets staff discount of 15% and the retail in US is way cheaper than another other country in the world

ps. i was a hardcore windows user and used macs on a few occasions w/o any satisfaction but willing to give mac a real try after doin my research

You should really start a business man. The US prices are cheaper and with the additional 15% discount. That's a heck of a deal.

The only problem would be shipping and tax after shipping back here. Remember that Macs have international warranty...

I researched already, shipping with UPS would cost you around USD$80, and no you don't need to pay taxes.

The only thing you need to worry is the adapter plug head that is using a different design than the one we use here.

this isn't a problem. you can buy replacement plug heads here in Malaysia, for just RM50 from most Apple Resellers.
