hi guys, wanted to ask, this is the price for airasia move flights+hotel. apparently, it's very very cheap compared to other airlines.

however, i can't choose anything, like seats, food, etc.

so my question is, how legit is this package (if anyone used/bought this combo package before from airasia?)

also, if i'm able to choose the seats/food during check-in if i use this combo package?

use other platforms can get cheaper with better places to stay with that price

The flights are not by airasia right?

I would tell you my experience.
1. during booking says got luggage 20kg, but when checked at KLIA at the airline counter - says ticket no including luggage.

2. 24 hours before flight back from oversea, got a sms from Airasia informing flight disruption. (connecting flight nightmare). Asked me to seek clarification with airasia chat. waited 30 mins for human to answer the chat - you know what the best story?

since it's less than 24 hours flight, we cannot do anything, please contact the airline for further assistance.

yes that's the level of customer service you get.
3. After you bought ticket from airasiamove, the confirmation is NOT immediate, you need to wait up to 2 hours to get the 3rd party airline to confirm the purchase.

scam.

they packaged it for you so you get better deals.

Check in Trip.com. Survey few platforms.

Afterall, Like said, AA want to be ONE stop centre for "waterfish" tourist.

actually, its from airasiamove website. under Flights + Hotel, so is it the same? i understand your scenario is from third party is it? then i would avoid third party, TQ for your view.

they are ok.  for the seats food i think u will be able to manage booking at airasia itself and u can addon from there.

but bruh, wtf 8 nights at airport there, u sure u ok or not?

8 nights at the airport hotel.

YOu sure you want to stay near airport? lol
Dont be penny wise pound foolish ya later end up spending more on transportation.

Averagely you will be spending 1000Yen more 1 way or 2000Yen per pax  on transport just to travel out from the airport area.
So do you math and see it is worth the money and TIME.

I would just summarise my experience to this advice

1. for international connecting flight, buy directly from the flying airline. It's easier for them to trace your ticket reference number as compared when you use 3rd party vendor service.  And if there are flight disruptions, the flying airline can assist you more since you bought directly from them.

me 1st time using 3rd party booking AA and this is what I found.

On 3rd party, you can't book food/seats etc. They will give you genuine AA booking number
With the booking number, log into AA website and you will be able to buy Add On like food/seats
And you can also do online check in
With flight cancellation etc, AA will still help you change to different flight like normal AA booking. As for refund, no idea.

General advise is, try to book directly with the airline in case some hiccup happens.

But I do find 3rd party booking can be slightly cheaper and I use it to book Tune Hotel. And more than once, standing in front of other hotel counter, I pull up my phone to make room booking on-the-spot because it is cheaper.
