without thunderbolt also can connect la.. just use usb-c to hdmi adapter can already... 

with thunderbolt it just supports faster data transfer speed...

I think quite worth it with free pencil. Can't wait to try it myself.

I just discovered that once the ipad (pro or air) is added to the cart, the Apple pencil (USB C or Pro) price would be deducted from total amount making the pencil free.

Can, I bought mine in August. Only 2.5% (RM75.83). Seems like the calculation included Applecare also when though the TnC said Applecare not included. I think 4.5% can save RM150+.

If you want ipad Air 2024 13in- better get the M2 Ipad Pro 12.9.

Price almost the same but you get better screen, 120Hz, better speakers.

Only benefit is the ipad Air 2024 can use the Apple Pencil Pro - but i think most of the features on the Pencil Pro not so useful unless u use ipad for drawing..... but then, if you use ipad for drawing - you would get  the ipad pro 2024.

Finally replacing my mom's iPad 2017, because the battery cycled over 1000 times and no longer able to hold up charges for more than 2 hours. Bought the base model iPad air m2 for my mom at 12.12 at RM1873.68, I saw the machines price RM1850 at laz before 12.12. I thought it can go lower than that, but it didn't. End up bought it from senheng laz and took around 6 days to ship it. After comparing 10th gen iPad and the price of 10th Gen, 256gb is around 200+ cheaper than m2 air, I don't think is the best value since the chip is already couple of years old.

now her iPad 2017 will pass down to me as an ebook reader, will replace the battery soon.
iPad 2 is now my nephew gaming device, iOS 6.1.3, 64GB fully loaded with all games.

Yea, replace the battery on iPad 2 couple of years ago still holding up great. Standby can last almost a month. Last time bought the 2 batteries from cell care.
iphone 4s battery, it became spicy pillow early this year, but iPad battery still holding up fine.

The last ipad I used was ipad mini 6th which I let go about a year ago. Its a breeze to have ipad back for reading and browsing. Especially this one with M1, gonna hold up for a long time. Perfect to toss into bag when on the go
