QUOTE(seriosekitt3h @ May 1 2024, 02:42 PM)
as if Singapore does not have any,
look at the big churches
and how they impacted the current policies in SG.

And they are the most racist people in SE Asia,
or if corrected, they are more classism than racism,
but still looks down on people with darker skins than them.

Any country that has institutionalized racism will automatically be more racist than countries that don't

Dei .. during the 19th century, Singapore is not even a country yet. Please cite a recent case to support your point. I was really hoping to see the racial tension in singapore comparing it to malaysia.

Digging the bottom of the barrel to prove his point. Policies are like so different but still want to compare

Those policies is to prevent the 2 of the main ethnic from killing each other,

Singapore have more incidents than Malaysia
that injures and killed its citizen since it's establishment.
*
Since it became a country, there has been no racial riots among its citizens.

And it does not matter the purpose of the policy, racist country is racist country. The racial tensions can be resolved thru non-racist methods but racist will surely choose racist method.

Singapore have 2 racial riots between locals (1964 and 1969) and one racial riot between foreigners (2013).
Malaysia only have one (1969).

Stop lying.

Even so, declaring Singapore as country on 1965,
they have equal amount race riot (1 in 1969) amongst its citizen
just like Malaysia had.

From the wiki you quoted

QUOTE
The precursor of the 1969 race riots can be traced to the 13 May Incident in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya in Malaysia. It was triggered by the results of the 1969 Malaysian general election, which were marked by Sino-Malay riots unprecedented in Malaysian history – 196 people were killed and over 350 injured between 13 May and 31 July. The real figures could be much higher than officially revealed. The Malaysian government declared a state of emergency and suspended Parliament until 1971.[1]

The disturbances had nothing to do with Singapore but there was an inexorable spillover of the communal violence in Malaysia into Singapore.

And yes, we should only consider after Singapore was established as a country which dictated its own policies and governance. This is the effectiveness of their governance that prevented racial hostilities.

And if you wanna compare to Malaysia, stop lying, here's the list of riots

QUOTE
Here are some notable racial riots that have occurred in Malaysia since the 1969 riots:

2001 Kampung Rawa Riot: A dispute between two individuals from different ethnic groups in Kampung Rawa, Gombak, Selangor, escalated into a riot involving hundreds of people. This incident highlighted underlying ethnic tensions.

2009 Penang Riot: A Hindu temple relocation issue in Penang escalated into a riot involving Malays, Indians, and Chinese, resulting in injuries and damage to property.

2018 Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Riot: Conflict surrounding the relocation of a Hindu temple in Subang Jaya, Selangor, resulted in a riot that lasted for two days. It involved clashes between the temple's supporters and a group of residents.

These are some of the significant racial riots that have occurred in Malaysia since the major riots of 1969. While there may have been other incidents of racial tension and violence, these events stand out due to their impact and public attention

QUOTE
Singapore has been relatively successful in managing racial harmony, but there have been a few incidents of racial unrest since 1969. Here are some notable ones:

1964 Race Riots: Prior to Singapore's independence, in July 1964, there were severe racial riots between ethnic Chinese and Malays. These riots were one of the factors that contributed to Singapore's separation from Malaysia.

Little India Riot (2013): While not strictly a racial riot, the incident in December 2013 involved primarily South Asian migrant workers in Singapore's Little India district. It was sparked by the death of an Indian national in a bus accident and escalated into violent clashes with the police.

1991 Maria Hertogh Riots Anniversary: In December 1991, there were tensions and some violence surrounding the anniversary of the Maria Hertogh riots of 1950. Maria Hertogh was a Dutch girl who was forcibly separated from her Malay-Muslim foster parents, leading to riots and unrest in 1950. While the 1991 incidents were not as severe, they highlighted lingering tensions.

2001 May Day Riots: While not specifically racial, the May Day riots in 2001 involved clashes between foreign workers, mainly South Asians and Chinese nationals. The riots were sparked by disputes over employment conditions and escalated into violent confrontations with the police.

So YOU stop lying

You believed this WIKI post when the latter part said the Bangla-Indian incident in Little India was
a spillover from Malaysia?
Yeah right.
Shifting their own racial instability to Malaysian.

I know you will use the 2018 incident where I had already mentioned in this thread.
It was a riot between developers and temple supporters.
The developers uses Malay gangs as protection for this case.

It is not Malay vs India that causes the riot.

Who are the developers exactly?
One City Development Sdn. Bhd
No need to dig deep, I already can assume who owns it.

Next is the Buah Pala village in Penang, northern Malaysia, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009,
same thing here.
Indian protesting for demolition of temple and the government.
Are they clashing with the Malays or
are they clashing with the riot police?

Read here below!
Next is 2001 Kampung Rawa Riot
No one got badly hurt or dead, some kids throwing rocks that incites this mass gathering.

Now the question is, who is the TPM back then who can't control his area?
He had to turun padang to clean up his mess.
Now, look at the KKMART issue, same person.

It is Anwar Ibrahim.

I already proven mine and refuted your points.
All you can do is menyalak (yada yada yada) like a dog to a hill.

I am a Malaysian citizen.
I did whatever my country needs me too, unlike you.

You're just a social parasite that eat, get fat and leave when it is no more to feed.
Maybe it is your time to be an immigrant
and be another pendatang in Singapore.

your one person's biased interpretation =/= proof. Bodoh. Most interpretation are that they are racial, therefore AI also classifies it as racial. Your cases of 'racial riots' in SG wasnt even classified as racial. pathetic la.
We are all malaysian citizens but not all of us are racist scum protecting institutionalized racist policies who just likes to repeat 'kalau tak suka, keluar'. Thought you;d be more original than that, but that is really expecting too much from a bottom-barrel fisher.
