Another option is find original Merc 15" wheels 15x6 or 15x6.5 so you can use cheaper 185 or 195 tyres.
You gain some comfort and some fuel economy. But loose some handling characteristics of wider tires.

QUOTE(netmatrix @ May 2 2024, 12:38 AM) If your wheels is 16x7JJ that ori tyre 205/55/16 is correct spec. Do not buy 185 or 195 because the tyre will be stretched a little because not wide enough. That means if you corner, the tires will lean higher on the sidewalls. Maybe can consider Viking. https://shopee.com.my/Viking-ProTech-PT6-Ty...d9-0a2cf3eee556Still cost over RM200. But its not china tyre. Made locally by Continental. is viking better than silverstone?

QUOTE(kurangak @ May 2 2024, 06:48 AM) Just buy cc7 ffs. Is your life worth the savings u make from buyinf chinese tyres? CC6 is just slightly above average budget tyre, but with mediocre wet capabilities and higher tyre wears vs other budget tyres. I not sure CC7 will be much better and warrant its higher price over the like of Goodyear/Dunlop

Continental sudah murah what?
Don't skimp on tyres. Bridgestone, Dunlop or at the very least Rovelo if really on tight budget.

I not sure CC7 will be much better and warrant its higher price over the like of Goodyear/Dunlop cc7 specifically improves wet grip which was the main gribe of cc6. I have driven cc7s in both wet & dry condition & long distance, ok doesn't skid as much. Wear is claimed to be much more durable but I didn't use long enough to comment.

Forget about china tyre. There is thousand of brand out there. Every batch imported by distributor is differrent brand. They buy by bulk due to moq. One time off, next purchase change brand again.
