I submitted a resume previously through jobstreet but there is a short stint that i included.
How long after can i reapply to the same company with a different resume without the short stint or will the company that i applied for always remember my first CV submission and notice the changes.
Also how will this affect my application

You can just update the resume and reapply. Doesn't affect as companies receive dozens to hundreds of job applications on Jobstreet-- they won't remember every single detail of each applicant.

Just reapply only...
As if they can remember each application...
It's more like fulfill some requirements.... Probably already gotten some list of candidates for next level...
Heck already got people to fill it up... But rules says... Need to open public... So they open it up...

QUOTE(zach69 @ Apr 29 2024, 12:19 AM) I submitted a resume previously through jobstreet but there is a short stint that i included. How long after can i reapply to the same company with a different resume without the short stint or will the company that i applied for always remember my first CV submission and notice the changes. Also how will this affect my application Unless you've left strong impressions (good or bad reasons) for the hiring manager or HR colleague, I doubt that they'll remember. HR receives plenty of resume on a daily basis and have to filter them out before selecting potential candidates to progress to the next stage so I doubt that they'll remember. Even if they ask you can probably mention that it's just a different version of resume tailored for different type of companies and you removed it this time around since it's irrelevant / keep the resume short and sweet. Unless there's some sussy thing going on then no one can help you edy

Instead of just removing the short stint, maybe you can also add in additional details about you? It can be about your basic computer skills, language skills, or anything. Then just resubmit say you updated your resume
