I am looking to subscribe to a decent VPN. I have used a couple of free VPNs but they throttle the speed so much that I can’t stream. Nord VPN and Express have been recommended to me but I can’t get their sign up processes to work for me. I keep getting error messages. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable VPN that is good for streaming please?

Anyway I use neither, I prefer surfshark.. I dont VPN all the time, only if I want to watch something that's not available here. Sometimes it's slow.. so I just stop and watch on another day.

I'm on Proton VPN but nothing spectacular. For me, it's just another VPN.

For streaming Netflix, Disney+ and all, there’s no such thing as best.

You need to understand that it’s basically a cat and mouse game (or whack-a-mole to be more precise) between VPN providers and streaming services. The streaming services regularly update their lists of VPN affiliated IP addresses to block, so a VPN server that works with Netflix this week might not work the following week, and then you will have to wait for your VPN providers to have the datacenter assign new IPs to them. Rinse and repeat. For this reason, I would advise you to avoid buying long term VPN subscriptions.

Try to look for a VPN provider that offers residential IPs. Less chance of being blocked by streaming services, but also some privacy downsides to using residential IPs.

Lastly, FYI, majority of those BestVPN or Top10VPN sites you find on the first few pages of your google search results are all either affiliated with or owned by parent companies of VPN providers, so there’s very little honesty or transparency in the industry.
