https://kitchenz.com.my/Wondering if anyone have used or considered using them? I know it’s cheaper particle board material but this would be fine for a secondary kitchen area like wet kitchen or breakfast bar. I did the numbers and it would be less than 2k for about 8 feet of cabinetry inclusive of tall cabinets. Would normal kitchen contractors be able to match this price point? I just want cabinets and don’t need sink, stove etc. This is quite a bit cheaper than Ikea which I personally don’t think is worth it. This post has been edited by Cavatzu: Apr 28 2024, 11:15 AM

QUOTE(DragonReine @ Apr 29 2024, 02:56 PM) 1) Basic melamine chipboard, value for money if you're not fussed about the longevity or the feeling of "premium". If you've seen the budget study tables/shelves seen in the likes of Lotus' or Homepro, expect around that level of feel for the furniture. Note that their countertop is also melamine material (unless otherwise specified, e.g. their stove unit uses tile top), which means it's only suitable for light use that doesn't involve exposure to high temperature or a lot of water. 2) No longer easily able get that price under RM2k for 8ft of cabinet in Klang Valley. Not for own stay. Going for premium economy ID. It’s just some additional cabinetry to put microwave on or coffee maker. Not really main kitchen for cooking. Kitchen contractors really slaughtering all over the place nowadays.
