Is there any like PS3 OS(window,Mac,Linux)
i heard there is Linux working on the OS.
but does microsoft decided to release Os for PS3?

cause if PS3 can go online it can be Living Room PC isnt that great biggrin.gif?
if not microsoft,is there any OS out there?
cause web browsing in living room is awesome biggrin.gif thumbup.gif

i doubt microsoft will release an OS for PS3.. wink.gif so far onli linux...(open source)

Why do you want Microsoft Windows on PS3, when you can get the similar functionality for free with Linux. tongue.gif You can use instant messenger (MSN, Yahoo, AOL), browser (Firefox, Opera), OpenOffice (can open and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint files), GIMP (similar to Adobe Photoshop) with Linux.

I don't think they will ever released a Windows OS on PS3, unless Sony pay them a lot of money.

However, you can install and use Windows XP on PS3 through Linux QEMU emulator, but it's damn slow. tongue.gif

You can installed any of the Linux version for free. Yellow Dog Linux, Fedore Linux, Ubuntu, etc. thumbup.gif

All are good.. you can try YDL or Ubuntu...
