Imho the pick-up truck had enough space and time to slow down and move off the right lane.
I wouldn’t ever want to stop dead in the right lane and be the first vehicle in a multi car pile up.

You cannot control trees falling down on the highway or a woman standing in the middle of the road. What you can control is your speed, why the 2 cars ahead of motobodo can slow down and stop safely but the motobodo cannot?
