I feel that your photos lack subjects, especially #2. My eyes don't know what to look at in your photos. Lol I face the same problem sometimes.

#1 is a bit too dark.

Just my 2 cents. I'm still a noob also. tongue.gif

looks like in Sydney.. i think ur pictures are not that bad but the 1st one u should add more lighting. try edit using photoshop..

#2, Lack of clear subject
#3, The fore ground is distracting the view. Try horizontal composition/crop

i would say tat the second picture is oversharpened and a tad over exposed... maybe you could try adjusting with the curves or smth coz the colors of the flowers are a bit wierd to me...

1. Over contrast.. lacking of subject.. try play with your white balance.. the blue is too much.
2. No subject.
3. Too much green.
