QUOTE(PJusa @ Jan 5 2025, 11:36 AM) If you want to save costs I can offer you my panels 11.75 kWp total - Canadian Solar 250 W, 47 panels. I am planning to get new ones cause under FiT. Performance is still good around 85-90% production with high peak performance. But since under FiT want to get the max. ROI on my contract. Message me if interested. Can give you a good deal. already installed ....thank for the offer . thanks ..

QUOTE(swing123 @ Jan 9 2025, 07:35 PM) Mind asking what does the Solar Insurance cover? I signed up 8kwh package at the Setia City CC Home Expo last month, 14 JA panels, Solargrow inverter, for 22.5k. Now awaiting SEDA approval. I don't think it comes with Solar Insurance. solar insuranceQUOTE(adamw @ Jan 10 2025, 09:24 AM) Yes, wanted to buy too but just haven't survey enough which company is good. My friend's Deye hybrid inverter which cost almost 9k has been having issues for almost a month not settled yet. If he bought maybe no need to worry but don't know what's the period covered though. If anybody bought before please share your experience. inverter problem no warranty from solar service provider ? usually 10years above warranty

QUOTE(swing123 @ Jan 12 2025, 08:05 AM) Thanks for sharing the link, will find out if similar insurance offered by my provider and would need to compare the scope of what constitutes "indemnifiable damages". Buying insurance always need to look out for key catch clauses and ask for the fine print. so seda should approved already right .... and and fixed the installation date ? or already installed successfully? northern solar not provide free solar insurance ? thanks ...

QUOTE(swing123 @ Jan 13 2025, 10:33 AM) Signed up at Expo three weeks ago. Then site visit two weeks ago to confirm if roof can fit 14 panels. Submission thereafter. Was told SEDA will take 4-6 weeks, is that the norm? how much your average monthly tnb bill ? seda approved mine within 5days after submitted .

QUOTE(swing123 @ Jan 13 2025, 11:41 AM) Not yet move in, still renovating. I estimate based on my current consumption, then add in incremental number of airconds, storage boilers and other electrical kitchen appliances, would come to RM550-650 thereabout. Shorter waiting time for SEDA approval would be good for me, as re-wiring work will start after CNY, i can ask Solar guy to come do up the concealed solar wiring one shot. new house is double story ? seda submitted on which date ?till today still not yet approve ?
