I prefer not have a new house come with built in solar. Knowing developer, they will sometimes choose the cheapest things with unknown quality. I much prefer for the new house instead come with ready for solar tag. Pre built piping, wiring path, db space, inverter space, easily accessible roof for maintenance etc.
