Maybe they can buid casino on the sea, make it like boat, like pirate ship. And name it Shangri-la, make everything on your own risk, need to take ship to go in short ride...

2nd casino down south is okay. Plenty of money to be made. Important is the social negatives (gangsters/triads, prostitution) are manageable.

It’s actually a good move if it’s happen

The development in Johor will get benefit from it:

- surrounding city get tourist I.e Pontian, Kluang, Johor Premium Outlet, Muar.

- property gonna get goreng and become more expensive

- create jobs, new businesses (restaurants, car rental, grab, ect)

For this to happen:

Refurbish the Kulai airport so more international flight coming in.

The current ceremonial monarch of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, who is also sultan of Johor state, is said to hold more than 20 percent of the joint venture vehicle involving Country Garden that is the master developer of Forest City.

The report said the monarch was represented at the talks.

Bloomberg cited a spokesperson for Berjaya as saying it was not aware of any talks between Mr Tan and the Prime Minister regarding Forest City.

The news outlet added that neither Genting, Country Garden, or the monarch’s office, responded to request for comment.

Genting and LKT must be quite desperate or dumb enough to agree for another casino at Johor. They VIRTUALLY have one across the Straits - why would you put one more to compete with it?
