Come on guys..if the rule is pre existent and not an afterthought retrospective law, then it is only fair for everyone to respect the law. You don’t have to agree or be happy about it but respect for the rule of law is the way of a civilised society.

More so for us Nons… this has nothing to do with us, so we would be wise to remain interested observers and not make inflammatory comments that may come back to haunt us

Not all laws deserve to be respected.

Slavery was legal back then, should we respect too?

Please don’t make a fool of yourself and for a moment think that a law stating how the holy book of a religion should be handled can be compared to slavery.

No right or wrong answer but there was no element of disrespect so bit strange for the book binder and printer. Means next time they have to go through even word for word for the millions of pages their print is not feasible.

This extremism is really far fetched.

Yes, that may be the case, but guess what, that’s a decision that they’ll have to sort out for themselves.

We should, IMVHO, neither batu api the situation or comment sarcastically because it’s really an internal matter.

Race, religion and royalty… it’s a fact of life in Malaysia.

I don’t like it, but my personal feelings are irrelevant. It’s a fact of life in Malaysia

It's just an example fool.

There are many stupid laws in this world, not every law deserve to be "respected"

And this "holy book" isn't holy to everyone, only a specific subset of people.

Can understand your intention for harmony, but reality is shit will still splash to nons no matter what, because fundamentally there’s something wrong with certain party. Just look back at socks issue and some ppl try to flame on a prayer mat sold.

The problem is not with nons being provocative, it’s a one way respect with certain party, which doesn’t work no matter how generous other parties try to accommodate certain party’s self centred mentality.

I hear you loud and clear.

But will crying father and crying mother here do anything other than make the complainant look impotent and incompetent? If one truly feels so strongly about the unfairness, then one can try to change it by joining political parties and affecting change lawfully.

However, as has been clearly demonstrated so far, 天下乌鸦一般黑 aka pot = kettle and all political parties are only in it for themselves, certainly not for the benefit of the country, and God forbid the people who voted them in.

So what is one to do then? Take to the streets? That’s illegal and the clamp down will be severe.

If you can’t change the situation, and you’re not willing to go to jail for it, then the only thing you can do is to change yourself. That means either you learn to roll with the punches, or you go elsewhere where you think the system better suits you.

Because the law of the land is not going to change for you and passing snide remarks, sarcastic comments or complaining about it is not gonna make an iota of difference. It just makes you look like a beta.

We shall continue to exercise our limited freedom of expression with meow meow beside. wink.gif

The day everyone need to completely shut up is the day JokerLand finally full Talibum which is just a matter of time. I expect most ktards capable of moving out would have done so by then, or at the very least their next gen did it.

Good man. Wise decision… remember the meow meow please.

Not sure what the fuss is about. It's the printing company that was fined not the innocent binder company so I think it's the right course of action (according to existing law) since the onus is on the printing company to know the law.

Sometimes, we are so blinded by our own biases that we don’t even know what we are actually angry about in the first place….

Ugh, I spoke too soon. If you click on the link to read the full article, it says:
I hope justice prevails for the innocent manager and he's just let go with a warning. Anything more and I'll get angry for real 😤

Sigh. Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll be a slap on the wrist…. But who knows, common sense may prevail
