and why higher floor is much more expensive?

low floor for less ambient noise
high floor for view
some area do have really pleasant view on the high floor

Mid is best. Too high more risky, too low too trashy

High floor is less noise

Medium-high floors (around 60 - 75% of the way up) is the best

most important i think your neighbour quality. ( on same flow, and 1 floor upper )

The things I really miss about my condo. I was 1 floor below the penthouse. The wind was amazing; though sometimes scary. The view was always nice and calming. During fireworks, can see so many in different areas of the house.

If the condo is reasonably well maintained, then I like higher floors. I prefer my view to not be blocked.

I don’t miss the lifts though. So yeah, up to individual preference, I’m sure.

Im living on the 18 floor with the view of all the towers in KL.. the only sad part is... sibeh noisy... next to main road + highway + LRT.. sometimes very hard to sleep... midnight got rempits and idiots with their sports car revving up and drag racing on the highway 😓

Low floor better. Cheaper. Won't shake that much when feeling earthquake. Faster to reach ground floor if building on fire.

high floor got good view, no mosquito

50 storey top floor - better views / more sunlight / not blocked / more airy windy / less noisy / top no people above stomping or sound of dragging chair
the bad : take lift down ... stop at many floors down until full / if got fire or drillz need to run staircase down till die

if it's too low and ur condo facing highway, it's gonna be very noisy. another thing to note: make sure to buy a unit that's facing south or north. else, ur unit gonna be panas giler during hot day.

I had highest floor condo last time. Almost 30th floor. Omfg I hated taking the lift.

Peak hour for work confirm full all the bloody time. Wanna get food from foodpanda or parcel from shopee/lazada, rider will wait la 10 minutes for me to come down.

Mid level is best of both worlds. Don't trouble yourself for high level unless you are retiree or WFH all day.

2024 still got people buy condo?

Low floors nowadays also at least 4 storeys height from the ground. Pretty decent

Can you get bored of the view at 30+ floor? go to ppl penthouse, it is bloody amazing. oh and higher floor doesnt always mean good view, if ur condo has good view, it is perfecto.

cooler breeze i agree with you but it's only from one direction because it's condo kan. if it's from behind or side, i won't feel anything at all. 80% of the time it's sliding door and all windows closed and aircond on.

to each their own, but i really don't miss condo lifestyle

low or high semua boleh, yet, still depends on jmb + condo management. ini sebab if lift rosak, or no electricity backup, kena naik tangga.

anyway, high floor bila angin kuat, kena jaga the sliding door. silap2, sliding door can dent slightly after many times kena blow. best if open a small gap to let angin go thru.

Higher floors, the views for obvious reason, and also based on schedule of progressive payments, your bank loan will only release payments when super structure, walls etc are completed, so apart from the 10% upon signing S&P and the Sub Structure stage, your payments will be much latter than the lower units..
